A GROUP promoting education for older people has celebrated its tenth anniversary.
The Darlington branch of the University of the Third Age held a lunch at the George Hotel, Piercebridge, to mark the anniversary.
Guests included Darlington Mayor Doris Jones and the regional chairman of the U3A, Alan Willey.
The founder of the Darlington branch, Audrey Williams, who has been secretary for ten years, was presented with a basket of flowers.
