A theatre group will be bringing their interpretation of the Good Book when it visits Hartlepool later this week.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company will be presenting The Bible - The Complete Word of God (abridged) at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road tomorrow at 7.30pm.

In this new production, the company gallops from Eve to Exodus through the epistles, the apostles and the gospels via fig leaves and the final judgement.

They will also be taking a sideways look at the really big issues, such as whether Moses really did look like Charlton Heston.

Tickets for the show, which has received rave reviews, cost £10 or £8 concessions, are available by calling (01429) 890 000.
