Sunnybrow Brown Trout produced the first maximum victory of the season when they whitewashed the visiting Willington Club and it took them to the top of the table by one point.
The Trout's points scorers in the singles were Rachel Welsh, Michael Fox, Leslie Welsh, Stephen Longhorn and Carol Hawkins taking singles points to add to the two doubles they also won.
The former joint leaders, Willington Black Horse Inn and Willington Black Horse Tavern had mixed fortunes as the Tavern won by the odd point to go second, whilst the Inn lost by the odd point and drop into third place, where they lead the Brewer's Droop and the Prospect Club by two points.

Tow Law & District League
Tow Law Rose and Crown moved back to the top of the table after they only dropped one point on their visit to title contenders, Hamilton Row Black Horse. The visitors raced into the lead with wins from Steven Todd, Lee Mowbray, Gavin Hammell and Chris Bowes with Steve Wilkie saving the whitewash for the Horse by taking the final game.
Lanchester King's Head are still a threat for the title despite losing by he odd point at home to Esh Football Club. The footballers had wins from Micky Lugsden, John Robinson and Ken Brown, whilst Tom Bailey and Graeme Thompson scored for the King's Head.
The Rose and Crown lead the table by a single point from Tow Law North Point, who are two points ahead of Lanchester King's Head but have played an extra match. Hamilton Row are two points behind the King's Head with the same number of games played.
