The Grosmont keeper made several excellent saves in the first half limiting Grangetown to a 2-0 lead at half time. The first half performance by Millington scoring himself and then setting up a goal for Kearns was the highlight of the first 45 minutes.
Good play by Grosmont early in the second half allowed them to trouble Moore in the Grangetown goal, good saves by him kept the score at 2-0. Wise scored the third for Grangetown after a break from midfield. Robinson slotted in a fourth and final goal in the closing minute.

Steve French who had been a thorn in Brotton's defence scored both Hinderwell's goals in the last 20 minutes leaving Brotton to desperately hold on to their lead in the closing stages.

Ross Milburn crossed the ball and 17-year-old Peter Snaith finished the move with a fine header into the top corner of the net.
Loftus Ath 2 Boosbeck 0

In the seventh minute a James Wilson shot from outside the penalty area was deflected to Chris Wilson who found the net from close range. An exciting game was set up with both teams playing skilful and competitive football. The score remained the same at half time mainly due to the Boosbeck keeper. The second continued with both teams fighting hard to keep possession. In the 65th minute Loftus extended their lead when Wilson broke through the Boosbeck defence, he was brought down by the keeper and Devereux scored from the resultant penalty to make the final score 2-0.

Redcar clawed themselves back in the second half, but were unable to break down the solid defence in Staithes.
Lealholm 0 Lingdale United 3
In the first half Lealholm dominated the game largely due to star man Steve Hill in the centre of midfield. The ball hit the woodwork three times and Lealholm failed to convert their chances throughout the first period. Lingdale came out in the second half as a different side. Identifying from Steve Hill being injured and not taking the field they demonstrated to Lealholm how to take chances and scored three goals from four attempts.
