SUNDAY League side Lakeside FC received their brand new strips following the signing of a lucrative shirt sponsor deal.
Leading printing firm Hillprint Ltd - based in Newton Aycliffe - signed a unique shirt sponsorship deal with Lakeisde in the summer.
And Lakeside were finally able to don their new-look strip last week in a 3-3 cup draw with Broompark Loves - eventually over-powering their opponents in a 5-4 penalty shoot-out win.
"We are delighted to be sporting these new strips," said Lakeside manager Stuart Hodgson. "They are a striking view, and the Hillprint logo looks just the part!"
Lakeside - who play in the Bowman Anderson Accountants Spennymoor Sunday League - put pen-to-paper on the "significant" one-year deal, with the option of extending it to two years next summer, and the deal represents a substantial and vital amount of money for the club, which has provided a perfect base to build on in the months ahead.
