Middlesbrough's first away win of the season was secured in style as they cruised to a comfortable 3 - 0 victory at White Hart Lane today.
Massimo Maccarone, the 8.1 million Italian striker that was passed up br Spurs a few months ago, opened the scoring just after the 30 minute mark with a close range strike, a strike that opened his away score sheet.
10 minutes after the break Massimo Maccarone was involved once again in the Boro attack as he made the ball available for Geremi to finish giving Boro a 2 - 0 lead.
As Spurs, desperate to reduce the deficit, pushed forward, a gap formed in their defence giving Joseph Job the opportunity to exploit it for 3 - 0.
