A SUPPORT group for chronic pain sufferers starts in Bishop Auckland this week.
Campain, formerly known as Action on Pain, will launch its third branch in the town on Thursday.
The charity was formed in April last year to promote self help for all pain sufferers, ranging from those with aching joints to migraine sufferers.
It holds discussions with medical experts and complimentary therapists in Durham and Darlington and hopes to open more groups in the region.
Professor Tim Lovel will give a talk about pain management at the launch, in the Town Hall, at 7pm.
For details of Thursday's free meeting, or the group's work, telephone Christine Brydon on (01325) 244865.
