A GROUP of children from Middlesbrough are hoping to attract scores of butterflies after planting wildflowers.
Youngsters from Acklam Grange Comprehensive School joined Tees Valley Wildlife Trust to plant the flowers at Whinney Banks Greenspace.
Liz Arnold, from the trust, said: "The pupils planted the flowers to enhance the site and attract butterflies and insects. It is a practical way for them to improve their local area for everyone to enjoy."
