HEALTH workers in Hambleton and Richmondshire are being told of policies being set up to balance work with their home lives.
The area's Primary Care Trust has signed up to the Improving Working Lives standard.
"It's all about making sure our policies and ways of working are family-friendly and promote the health and well-being of the people who work for us," said human resources manager, Amanda Heward.
"The trust understands staff work best for patients when they can strike a healthy balance between work and other aspects of their life outside work.
