STOCKTON'S Tourist Information Centre has moved to Stockton Central Library.
After leaving its old home in the Green Dragon Museum, the new TIC opened to visitors yesterday.
Councillor Alex Cunningham, Stockton Council's cabinet member for education, leisure and cultural services, said: "The library is an ideal position for the new TIC because it is more high-profile and offers better access for the general public."
The centre employs four staff, one full-time and three part-time, and the mayor of Stockton Councillor Jean O'Donnell will officially open the branch on Monday, October 14.
