LIFE in North Yorkshire is being viewed through the eyes of children to mark the anniversary of its parkland.
Hundreds of photographs are being exhibited to mark the 50th anniversary of the North York Moors National Park. Nearly 1,000 children went out with their cameras to take part in the project.
The Snapshot 50 exhibition aims to document the special characteristics of local communities half a century after the park's designation.
Almost 600 pictures from 17 primary schools are on display at the Moor's Centre, Danby, until Sunday, and Sutton Bank National Park Centre from next Tuesday until Thursday, October 17.
Snapshot 50 is open daily, 10am to 5pm, at both venues, and admission is free.
