THIEVES stole a trailer and a caravan from the Rowlands Gill area in two separate raids.
Crooks took the Hunter deluxe horsebox, worth £3,500, from outside a house in Strathmore Road, Rowlands Gill, on Thursday, some time between 9am and teatime. A four-berth Rally GTE Compass caravan, valued at £17,000, was taken the next day, from a farm in Lockhaugh Road. Anyone with information is asked to call 0191-454 7555, extension 64355.
COFFEE MORNING: Parkinson Memorial Methodist Church stages a coffee morning at its church hall in Sherburn Village, near Durham, on Saturday, from 10am to 11.30am. All are welcome, with proceeds going to church funds.
