BASKETBALL coaching with Newcastle Eagles starts at Wolsingham School on Thursday, October 10 for five weeks.
The course is a Sport Action Zone activity and will end with a tournament involving teams from other parts of the Wear Valley. The free sessions must be booked by calling 0776 6133493.
VOLUNTEERS MEET: 2D, the volunteer support agency for Weardale and Teesdale, is holding its annual meeting at the Manor House Hotel, West Auckland, on Thursday, October 24, at 7 15pm.
AWARDS NIGHT: Parkside School, in Willington, has its Awards Night on Tuesday, October 22 at 7pm.
