A PUBLIC meeting is being held at 7.30pm next Thursday at Dar*ington Arts Centre, Vane Terrace, to begin planning next year's community carnival.
On the agenda will be the election of committee members, the theme for the parade and voting for the charity to benefit. Among the themes being considered are Famous Novels, Europe and Transport Through the Ages. Charities wishing to apply to receive funds should write to Jackie Maddison, Darlington Community Carnival, c/o The Arts Centre, by October 7.
