The League programme for Sunday was halved as the League still has a lot of clubs in the Durham County Football Association Sunday Football Cup.
Meadowfield Brancepeth Castle who are exempt until the next round, entertained Murton Village Inn whose form has dipped lately in a Premiership game. Brancepeth with goals from John Harrison 2, Gavin Bell and Tony Hanson were 4-0 winners and maintained top spot in the division.
In the Only other game in the Premiership Hetton Lyons Cricket Club warmed up for their all England FA Cup to be played at Eppleton CW next Sunday kick off 2pm against Bradford side Oakenshaw FC, with a fine 6-0 win at Pelton ROAB. Neil Burn Hitting a hat trick plus goals from Gary Keegan ,Stuart Irvine and an own goal.
In the First Division a hat trick from substitute Gavin Richardson and a strike from Michael Filson gave Sacriston WMC a 4-1 home win over Sunderland Lakeside.
In the Second Division two fine strikes from Jon Stark plus one from Stuart Dawson gave Langley Park wmc a 3-1 win over the visitors Lambton Village. A goal each from Dave Kirtley and Gary McCartney was enough to give Dunlop the points in the 2-1 home win over the Jovial Monk.
In the Third Division Houghton Comrades earned a hard fought point in the 3-3 draw at Ferryhill Black Bull, Gary Muncaster 2 and Dean Warrington for the comrades with Dave Crathorne, Paul Latcham and Jason Watson scoring for the Black Bull. Goals from Tony Vietch, Craig Cockburn, Mel Cairns and a double strike from Paul Cockburn gave the Honest Boy a 5-2 Home win over the Brittania Inn.
A Mick Barker goal gave the Bede Lodge a fine 1-0 win at Kirk Merrington Half Moon.
In the Fourth Division Rob Dick was on form as he scored two for the Pelton Fleece as they were 3-0 winners over visitors Esh Winning Cricket Club, Phil Atkinson also scoring.Bradley Louis hit a hat trick for the Burnmoor Dun Cow as they crushed the White Tunn 6-1, Aurthur Willis, Carl Tingley and Tony Daggett also scoring. A goal from Paul Bellamy gave Waterhouses a share of the points in the 1-1 draw at Brandon Sports. A Fine solo effort from Dave Cowie gave Horners a 1-0 home win over the Pot and Glass. A double strike with two goals each from Richard Kay and Ritchie Tiffin gave Lumley Snooker a home win 4-2 over the much improved Bearpark wmc.
