In a hard fought game against current league leaders, Grangetown, Boosbeck Utd kept on top for most of the first half, chances coming to Dean Winter, Arran Johnson and Ivan Thompson with Vince Parry outstanding in midfield.
Grangetown then attacked down the right and a cross into the goal area resulted in a good shot hitting the woodwork. However the game remained goalless at the break. In the second half Grangtown began began to come more into the game, Boosbeck's keeper, Myers was forced into making a great save from a stinging shot from the Grangetown forward. With 10 minutes remaining a free kick was floated into the Grangetown penalty area, Ivan Thompson fired a shot towards goal, Arron Johnson getting the final touch to give Boosbeck a narrow victory.
Brotton had made sure of the three points in the first half of their match against Goldsborough with four goals in 25 minutes. Then new signing Ryan Scott made his presence felt, making the second goal with a good cross for Ward to score in the tenth minute and then scoring himself in the 15th and 25th minutes. In the second half Brotton sat back on their lead and Goldsborough lifted their game and began to play well.
In the 65th minute Duell successfully converted a penalty to pull a goal back. Goldsborough were on top from then on but failed to capitalise and in the 85th minute Ward netted his second for Brotton, putting the result beyond doubt.
With the cricket commitments at an end Gt Ayton were able to field a full strength team for the first time this season. On six minutes Murray opened the scoring when he intercepted a back pass to the Hinderwell keeper to steer the ball past the advancing Lyth. The Ayton pressure was finally rewarded when Doyle set Bushby down the right to cross a perfect ball for Ripley to score with a well placed shot. Hinderwell. Early in the second half Ayton converted a penalty after Bushby had forced his way into the area, his cross striking the arm of a defender, giving Leng the chance to increase Ayton's lead. Man of the match for Hinderwell, Melbourne was a dominant player in midfield continually breaking down Ayton's attacks, while Aytons man of the match, Anth Doyle kept a clean sheet in goal with another diving save to deny Hinderwell a late goal.
Grosmont entertained Highland Laddie in a nine goal thriler. Following some end to end football Laddie took the lead in the 20th minute when a well placed cross was tapped in by Burns only for the lead to be cancelled out immediately when a through ball from Metcalf was neatly slotted home by Lever. Laddie gained the advantage again when a free kick ricocheted off the wall for Lowther to head home. Before half time Lever levelled again for Grosmont with a lob over the Laddie keeper. At the start of the second half Lowther netted his second, but once again Grosmont came back, this time Woods heading home from a Hudson cross. With the game so evenly balanced both sides attacked in an attempt to score the winning goal. With 10 minutes remaining Ayres gave Laddie the lead when he beat the off side trap. With Grosmont pushing forward in an attempt to equalise there was always the danger of a break and both Danes and Combellack broke through to give Laddie the cushion they required. Grosmont never gave however and despite having more chances they failed to convert and while a draw would have been a truer result, Laddie came away with a 6-3 victory.
Loftus (Bells Butchers) completely dominated the Anchor Inn. James Wilson set the tone of the game in the first 40 seconds scoring the first of his three goals. While Anchor settled in the second half they were unable to find the target and Loftus scored again to finish with their best result of the season.
Lealholm travelled to Redcar Mackinlay Park. Mackinlay Park opened the scoring when a good move down the right saw Peggs pull a ball back for Richter to score. Lealholm fought hard to keep the score to 1-0 and should have been on level terms but managed to put their best chance over the bar from close range. In the second half Mackinlay took control but Whitwell was playing well in the Lealhom defence to keep them at bay, they finally got the break through when Palmer put a good ball in for Peggs to cross and Bennions met it at the far post. Redcar went on to finish the game off after a Richter corner was tapped in by Dewse.

A Lee Downing corner beat the Staithes defence allowing Phil Wright to power a free header home and a second defensive error allowed Kirkbright the chance to tap in a well placed cross.Lingdale held on to the advantage to the break. In the second half an enforced substitution and some positional changes by Staithes gave a zip to their play. Staithes continued to pressurise the lingdale defence and this paid dividends when Lee Gibsons back header allowed jon Ward to stab the ball home in the final minute to level the score.
Fisherman played out a frustrating draw with their opponents thanks to some dogged defending and a fantastic display by Annandales keeper. The continued pressure led toRoberts being bundled over in the box with Woods putting away the resulting penalty. The second halfwas played in much the same way with Whitby pushing forward and Annandale prepared to defend deep and soak up the pressure. With Whitby beibng unable to kill the game off, Annandale grew in confidence and after forcing a corner the ball was headed home through poor marking from Whitby.
