THE changing face of the North-East landscape is under the spotlight at Darlington Arts Centre this month.
Heather Kinsella and Paul Dillon, who teach painting classes throughout the region, are exhibiting their work together for the first time.
Heather's vibrant water colours reflect what she sees in the region's gardens and hedgerows, with innovative techniques used to reproduce spiders' webs, plants, flowers and seeds. In contrast, Paul's work shows the ever-changing light and weather of the Northern landscape.
Using water colour and oils, he has caught the everyday drama of the high fells, woods, rivers, streams and fields.
The Just Looking exhibition is on show at the Arts Centre throughout this month.
On Saturday, October 19, the artists will be there to talk about their work and demonstrate techniques.
