A GRIEVING father last night told of his devastation after burglars stole treasured mementoes of his daughter who died of lung cancer.
Images of Suzanne Watson were stored on a computer to eventually show her son Connor - the survivor of twins born weeks before she died in October last year.
Thieves broke into her father Jeff's home in Byker, Newcastle, and stole the computer, as well as Suzanne's mobile phone which held messages from the last days of her life.
The burglars also took a bottle of her perfume and rifled through her bedroom Mr Watson maintains as a tribute to his 15-year-old daughter's memory.
The thieves struck over the weekend when Mr Watson took his family away for a short break.
He was left particularly upset as he wanted to keep the electronic photos of his daughter to show his grandson, now aged 14 months.
Connor's twin, Robert, died 11 days after he was born of a rare intestinal disorder.
