A GROUP of Salvation Army volunteers are taking part in the Great North Run.
The runners are all connected to the Tom Raine Court Hostel, in Darlington, run by the Salvation Army.
All the money they raise will go to the hostel which provides accommodation for homeless men in the town.
The runners are supporters of the charity, volunteers and former residents of the hostel.
They are James Porter, Tracy McGough, Andy Cole, Tony and Anne-Marie Thornton
