ARRIVA Yorkshire and Harrogate and District Travel Limited are among the shortlisted nominees for this year's UK bus "Oscars".
The Bus Industry Awards promote excellence and best practice among the UK bus industry and have been running for seven years.
Bus operating company Arriva Yorkshire, which is part of the North-East based Arriva transport group, is nominated along with four other entries for the Innovation Award.
This is for its "Announce" audio and visual system operating on buses on routes in Yorkshire. The system uses an LCD display and speaker announcement to give passengers information.
Harrogate and District Travel is also on the shortlist for The Marsh UK Bus Operator of the Year Award.
The awards are announced in London on November 19.
