A SIX-A-SIDE cricket tournament has raised £500 for St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington.
The contest, at The Cumby Arms, Newton Aycliffe, was won by a team from The Oak Tree pub.
Jane Bradshaw, hospice director, said: "We would like to thank everyone who made this a successful event.
"The organisers have had a lot of support from people who donated raffle prizes, especially Luke Raine at Darlington Football Club, and this enabled them to raise so much money for the hospice. We are grateful to everyone who raises funds for the hospice. Every penny is used to support the invaluable work the hospice does."
