Communities have been claiming their tourism "Oscars" this year.
The Yorkshire Tourist Board handed out its White Rose Awards at a ceremony at the Royal Armouries in Leeds this week. Recipients included Pickering, Harrogate, Scarborough, York and Helmsley.
Rudding Park, near Harrogate, was named Hotel of the Year, and the prize for Guest Accommodation of the Year went to The Moorlands Country House, near Pickering.
The town's Beech Farm Cottages scooped the award for Self-Catering Holiday of the Year, Pickering's Tourist Information Centre won its category while Andrew Foster, of Foster and Hawkes, in Helmsley, was presented with the Outstanding Customer Service Award.
Caravan Holiday Park of the Year was Scarborough's Jasmine Park and Conference Venue of the Year went to York's National Centre for Early Music.
The city's Festival of Food and Drink was named as the winner of the Best Tourism Event of the Year.
