POLICE are investigating the second fire at a school in less than a week.
Three youths were charged with arson and remanded in custody after a blaze in a classroom at Billingham Campus School on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called out again in the early hours of Saturday, to a fire in the reception area.
The flames severely damaged the entrance hall to the school, in Marsh House Avenue, and caused smoke damage throughout the building.
Billingham Fire Station Officer Steve Walsh said: "The fire is being investigated but we believe it was deliberately started."
The youths charged with the first incident are due to appear before magistrates in Middlesbrough today.
