WORK is under way to prepare a North-East paint products plant for expansion following a £1m-plus invest- ment.
Hammerite Products, a division of ICI Paints, is modifying its paint manufacturing plant at Prudhoe in Northumberland, creating 30 new jobs.
The company announced in February last year that it planned to increase production capacity and support "profitable growth of the business" at Prudhoe.
