FLOWERS galore will be on show at a festival at South Bank Baptist Church, South Bank, near Middlesbrough, this weekend. The free harvest-themed event is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and noon to 5pm on Sunday. The church is also hosting a charity concert in aid of baby hospice Zoe's Place on the Saturday at 7pm. WOMEN'S DAY: Women's health matters will come under scrutiny at an afternoon event in Stockton on Saturday. The Women's Day, at Stockton Baptist Tabernacle, in Bishop Street, will also hear from speakers on children's behavioural problems and coping with pressure. The event, between 2pm and 6.30pm, is free.
ROLL UP: Thornaby's Asda store is holding a flu jab day in its in-store pharmacy on Saturday. The session lasts from 10am to 6pm.
VOLUNTEER APPEAL: A team of volunteers is needed to carry out repair work on Eston Hills. Tasks will include habitat management, footpath maintenance and access improvements. For details call (01642) 459629.
ECZEMA GROUP: A talk on nutrition and skin will be given at a meeting of Teesside Eczema Support Group tomorrow, between 6pm and 7pm. The meeting is at the dermatology outpatient department at the James Cook University Hospital. All are welcome to attend. For information, call (01642) 854722.
