A TEENAGE soldier from Darlington is helping the Green Howards recruit new members.
Private George Brawn, 17, is a member of the Catterick-based recruiting team for the regiment and is hoping to encourage people to sign up before he joins the 1st Battalion in Northern Ireland in February next year.
He will be visiting areas in Teesside and North Yorkshire helping to encourage young people to consider an Army career.
Pte Brawn said: "I enjoyed the training at Catterick and especially the fitness work. I'm now looking forward to joining the Green Howards next year."
