A 38-year-old barmaid was today celebrating winning more than £2m on the Lotto.
Barbara Forth was watching Wednesday's live night-time draw when she realised she had hit the jackpot.
At first, the mother-of-five thought she had won £10 by matching three numbers but a moment later her delight turned to complete shock as she realised her life would be transformed by winning the £2,076,385 top prize.
Mrs Forth, who was working in the Tinkers Wheatsheaf pub in Shiney Row, Tyne and Wear, said: ''We had the TV on in the pub where I work and the Lotto draw came on so I thought I may as well check my numbers.
''I initially thought I had matched three numbers to win £10 and thought That's better than nothing, then I realised I had got all six numbers and I could not believe my luck.''
Mrs Forth, and husband, Kim, plan to buy a new house to replace their existing home in Penshaw, Houghton-le-Spring and also going away on holiday to Tenerife.
Mr Forth, who has three other children from a different marriage, was asleep when his wife phoned him to say they were millionaires.
Mrs Forth said : ''Kim would not believe me at first, he had to ring back and speak to my manager before he accepted it.''
Mr Forth said: ''It has not sunk in yet. Everything is happening so fast.''
Mrs Forth plays the Lotto regularly, putting £2 on the Wednesday draw and a further £2 on the Saturday draw, each time using a Lucky Dip.
The winning ticket was bought from Martin's newsagent in Penshaw.
Her winning numbers were 7, 22, 25, 31, 44 and 47.
