CIRCUS bosses are on the look-out for a multi-skilled performer.
But before applicants rush to sample life under the big top, they should polish up on their snake handling skills.
And the demanding job description produced by Peter Jolly's Circus does not stop there.
You must also be a dab hand at belly dancing and be happy to walk over broken glass. And then there's always a bed of nails if all that sounds too tiring.
The traditional family circus, which has attractions including camels, zebras, jugglers and trapeze artists, will be in Wigginton, York, until Sunday.
The snake handler recently moved on and Jollys is on the lookout for a new recruit. A circus spokesman said: "The job entails looking after the snake and, ideally, we are looking for somebody who has done belly-dancing as they will have to present the act."
Anyone interested can call Peter Jolly on (07850) 687503 or visit the circus at West Field Lane, Wigginton.
