Saltburn won high praise in this year's Britain in Bloom awards.
The town received the Britain in Bloom Community Award 2002 from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Saltburn also picked up the silver gilt award in the category of coastal resort with a population of 20,000 or under.
The floral efforts of Saltburn were also recognised in the smaller Northumbria in Bloom Competition when the town came runner-up.
Saltburn's Britain in Bloom co-ordinator Jackie Taylor said: "It was a real effort between the people in the town, the parish council and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. There was so much effort went into it from all involved.
