YOUNGSTERS from Ferryhill will be working with local artists to help decorate their own youth cafe tomorrow.
The project is part of family learning day at the Ferryhill e.cafe and involves painting a mural on one of the inside walls.
Community artists Tom Elwick and Barbara Casemore will be at the building on Ferryhill Market Place between 10am and 4pm.
Youth leaders at the cafe are hoping to attract people of all ages to join in.
Project co-ordinator, Naomi Ryan, said: "All ages are welcome. It's family learning day, so we want everybody from small children right through to grandparents."
She added: "We get quite a lot of young people in every time we're open and we've got various projects happening at the moment."
The e.cafe is open from 6.30am to 9pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursdays for over 13s only, and from 4.30pm to 7pm on Saturdays.
