POSH frocks, diamonds and fireworks will be lighting up the night at a glittering charity ball next month.
The Tall Trees Hotel, in Yarm, hopes to help raise thousands of pounds for under-privileged children on Friday, November 1, by encouraging local people to turn up in their finery for an exclusive night out.
The Frocks 'n' Rocks Ball includes a champagne reception, a charity auction, a three-course meal and a fireworks display, all hosted by newspaper columnist and television and radio personality Paul Frost.
DJ Austin Flowers will also pay tribute to the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties at the event, sponsored by the Steel River Group.
The firm owns The House fashion store, in Yarm, and, this week, two of the balls organisers, Christine Walters and Angela Salmon, tried some of the store's gowns to get into the spirit of the occasion.
Tickets are priced from £40 each with tables of ten available.
The money raised will go towards a Christmas party for hundreds of under-privileged children held by TrustTEES every year.
