GIRLS in Stockton are being offered the chance to try their hand at netball before joining a junior club.
The taster sessions will be held next month.
The first, for girls aged 11 and 12, will be held at Stockton Sports Centre on Saturday, November 16, between 1pm and 5pm.
Another, for seven and eight-year-olds will be on Saturday, November 23, between 1pm and 5pm, at Ian Ramsey School.
The school will also host a ten-week course on Tuesdays, between 6pm and 8pm, with youngsters who sign up invited to join Grangefield Junior Netball Club.
The project has been pioneered by the Teesside Sport Partnership and organised by Teesside Sport, as well as Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland borough councils.
Anyone who would like to book a place can telephone the development team on (01642) 358512.
