A Valuation day and art exhibition will be held at a North-East church on Saturday to raise funds to help provide for the disabled.
Birtley Methodist Church has arranged for Giles Hodges, of Boldon Auction Gallery, to give valuations at £1 per item, while visitors can also peruse the works of accomplished North-East artist David Hughes.
Sales of prints of 20 of his watercolours will also boost the church's disability fund.
The event takes place at the church, in Station Lane, off Durham Road, from 10.30am.
