AN exhibition hall was filled with the whispered sounds of weddings being planned at the weekend.
The Pavilions complex at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, took over from the town's Royal Hall complex to host the two-day Yorkshire Brides 2002.
More than 100 traders from around the UK made the journey with everything from garters to tiaras on display.
Among them was York's Catriona Dowse, of Bridal Rogue Gallery, who brought the gown which scooped the Yorkshire Brides designer of the year award.
Hen and stag night organisers, portrait painters and mobile creches were also given space at the event.
