A PLANE had to make an emergency landing after running into dense cloud in the region.
The two-seater light aircraft landed in a field off the A66, near Ravenscroft, North Yorkshire, at about 5pm on Sunday.
It is believed the pilot decided to land the plane after experiencing problems when the plane hit dense cloud, but no one was injured.
The plane then took off again shortly after, and neither police or fire and rescue were called out.
