ALMOST 200 entries have been received for an exhibition of work by local artists.
But the organisers of Eye Opener, which opens at the DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery on November 17, are encouraging even more exhibitors to take part.
Entrants may submit two pieces, no bigger than 5ft by 5ft. There is a £3.50 charge (1.50 concessions) for each piece and entry forms are available from Anne Hall, on 0191-384 2214. They must be returned by Monday.
The exhibition will run until December 7, with visitors asked to nominate their favourite piece for the visitors' prize
