WORKING towards improving health and wellbeing in the community will be top of the agenda at an event tomorrow.
The event, organised by Stockton Wellbeing Action Group, is being held at the Education Centre, Junction Road, Norton. It will bring together both planners and residents of Stockton to look at how they are working together to improve health in some of the most disadvantaged areas, and how that work might be extended.
There will be presentations of the types of work going on in the area and workshops based around four themes - improving nutrition, mental health promotion, physical activity and drugs.
Stockton Wellbeing Action Group is made up of representatives from various local organisations, community workers and residents' groups, as well as the Primary Care Trust and Stockton Borough Council
