Marsh Tackle's Kevin Moore on peg 19, three above Brampton Farm gutter legered lobworm and enjoyed a bit of luck when one fish, a pike of 4.0.0, snatched his bait and put the conclusion beyond doubt.

Carp Scene
Sunday saw the return of Sunday matches at the Woodland Lakes complex and corn proved the bait for the leaders during a sell out open.
The carp population were keen to feed despite the first frost and Map Elton's Lyndon Roberts framed first off Skylark 13. Going out to nine metres carp to 4.0.0 were located with chub and barbel pushing the score to 67.2.0.
Teammate Mark Coyne also broke the 60lb barrier off Partridge 29. Carp to 5.0.0 on the pole at seven metres totalled 62.9.0.

At the Oaks Sessay small baits are dominating the results now the temperature has dropped and Mark Lucas of Ted Carters beat Sunday's capacity field with all carp for 52.4.0. Peg 44 off Maple Lake delivered the goods alternating maggot and caster on the pole inside at six metres and across at 13 metres with fish to 2.0.0.
Nearby on peg 42 Andy May of Sensas Daves drew the jackpot peg and fished the same lines but frustratingly had to settle for next best weighing in 47.10.0.
