PEOPLE are being asked to share their memories of three Middlesbrough hospitals for a commemorative book.
The book is intended to mark the closure next year of Middlesbrough General Hospital, North Riding Infirmary and the rehabilitation ward at West Lane Hospital.
"The hospitals have served the population of Teesside for many years and considerable nostalgia and emotion will be generated by their closure," said a spokeswoman for South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust.
"To mark the end of an era, the trust is compiling a memories book by staff, patients and the public."
Anyone who would like to contribute should write to Public Relations, Middlesbrough General Hospital, Ayresome Green Lane, Middlesbrough TS5 5AZ.
