This week saw the Allstars playing some outstanding football with fantastic substitutions and long range goals.
The Under-13s were away to Stockton West-End and pulled off a superb performance with Jamie Hind scoring four goals and Shaun Marshall having a brilliant game when he came on as substitute. Full back, Stuart Adams scored from long range and Jack Henderson also got his name on the score sheet. Stockton scored in the first ten minutes, but Allstars never let their heads go down and romped home to a 6-1 win.
Scorers were Jamie Hind (4) Jack Hendserson and Stuart Adams with Jamie Hind man of the match.
The Under-11s took an Cleveland Jnrs away from home and pulled off a brilliant 3-2 victory. This was another all round team performance from the Allstars with Lee Gbbon taking the leading role. Billy Kilcran made an excellent attempt at goal and Lee Gibbon brushed it into the back of the, net. He then went onto score two more superb goals. Scorers were Lee Gibbon (3) who was also man of the match.
The Under-17s were hosts to Brompton JFC in this entertaining league match. Allstars turned on file magic and pulled aft a tremendous 4-2 win, Well done, a well organised, controlled team performance with some fine attacking football. Scorers were Tommy Wright, Anthony McLachlan, Scott Hodgson (2) and man of the match John Craggs.
The Under-11 Colts were hosts to New Marske in this nail-biting league game. The Allstars took control of the match leading 3-2 against this top of the league unbeaten team. An own goat by the Allstars ended the match 3-3 at time. Scorers were Dion Sung, Ryan Ford, Ryan Bowes and man of the match was Dion Sung.
The Under-l2s took on Marton FC in the league and after a battling performance won the game 1-0. Allstars never really settled into their normal flowing game, but they never gave up and got their rewards in the end. Scorer was Ross Kelly and man of the match was Adam Armstrong.
The Under-15s were hosts to Tibs in this entertaining home game. Tibs were leading 2-0, but Allstars never gave up and put in an excellent all-round team performance with Adam Sams scoring his first hat trick to win the match 3-2. Man of the match was John Paul Swift.
The Under-12 Colts travelled to Greatham FC and a hard-fought game was played. Greatham controlled the match playing some outstanding football. Allstars were outclassed by this quicker fitter Greatham side losing the game 4-0. Man of the match was Michael Lakey.
The Under-13 Colts took on Hartlepool Crest away in the league. Allstars were three up at half time but in the second half luck was not on their side and Hartlepool scored five goals. The 5-3 scoreline was not reflective of this closely fought game. Scorers were Tom Watson (2), Jack Ridley and man of the match was Kiel Mellor.
The Under-10s travelled to Hartlepool Juniors and played some quality football. A good all round team performance entertained the spectators with exciting one-touch fast-flowing football resulting in a 2-2 draw. Scorers were Danny Thompson, Shane Campbell who was also man of the match.
Allstars were also winners in the friendly with the final scoreline 3-2 and Liam Brown named man of the match.
The Under-10 Colts were hosts to Stockton and Norton in this evenly matched league game. Some excellent competitive football was played with the game ending in a 0-0 draw and man of the match was Peter Hyndman.
In the friendly game Stockton and Norton won 3-1 with Jordan Grieves scoring for the Allstars and Ryan Able taking man of the match.
The Under-15 Colts travelled to Hartlepool Athletic to play this hard-fought league match. Allstars worked hard to keep Hartlepool at bay and the first half ended in a 0-0 draw. The second half saw some excellent football and Allstars did not deserve the final scoreline of a 3-2 defeat.
Scorers were Alan Barr and Chris Turner with Chris Johnson man of the match.
The Under-16s took on visitors South Shields Wanderers in the County Cup, losing the tie 3-0. South Shields scored an early goal, and Allstars failed to put their chances away. A well-fought match, but luck was not on the side of the Allstars. Man of the match Darren Thompson.
