POLICE are appealing for information about Robert Scott Clive, 30, who was last seen on October 8 in Alvinton Avenue, North Shields, North Tyneside.
He is 5ft 11in, white, with short dark hair and a snake tattoo on his arm, and walks with a limp. Anyone who has seen Mr Clive, is asked to contact the police on 0191-214 6555.
WITNESSES SOUTHT: Two boys were hurt when their scooter and a car collided in Earlston Avenue, Acklam, Middlesbrough, at 3.10pm on Saturday. The pair, aged 16 and 17, were taken to hospital, one with a broken ankle and the other with a broken leg.
ROADWORKS: Bowesfield Lane, Stockton, will close to allow Northumbrian Water to put in a main water diversion. This work will allow the widening of the A66 Bowesfield Lane overbridge, which will carry the new eastbound exit slip road off the A66 on to the South Stockton Link Road.
SHOP RAID: A man escaped with cash after using a knife to threaten staff at Booze Buster, in Stanley, County Durham, at about 9.30pm on Saturday. He is described as 6ft 4in, white, with short fair hair, and was wearing a blue jumper and trousers, and khaki trainers. BOY DIES: Carl Langlois, 16, of Blyth, Northumberland, has died in Newcastle General Hospital following a collision between a Ford Fiesta and a fuel tanker in Ennerdale Road, Blyth, at 3.25pm on Thursday.
CHEMICAL LEAK: Fire crews were called after a small amount of ammonia leaked from the Terra Nitrogen plant, Billingham, Teesside. A spokesman said no one was endangered by the incident.
