BOBBIES from across Cleveland took the chance for a last look around their old beat.
Dozens of policemen, retired and still-serving, were invited back for a photocall at the 150-year-old Loftus police station before it closes.
"We've had an excellent response," said event organiser PC Eddie O'Hara.
The station will close early next month so the building can be converted into a £425,000 affordable housing scheme. The police will be left an end house in the current building and will relocate there.
District commander John Kelly said the change will not affect policing in the area.
The Endeavour Housing Association will develop the property.
