FANS of one of the world's most famous motorcycle marques have helped to boost a North-East hospice's fundraising appeal.
The regional group of the Harley-Davidson Club of Great Britain donated £225 to St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington.
The money was raised at the organisation's annual rally.
The money will go towards the hospice's appeal for £250,000 to open a six-bed full-time care unit.
The care unit, which would serve people in the town and surrounding areas, would allow patients to receive around-the-clock care in the peaceful atmosphere of the hospice.
