TEACHERS are to be given a "code of conduct" for school parties visiting the fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay.
It follows a big influx of youngsters going to the picturesque tourist spot on the North Yorkshire coast, following the opening of the National Trust and National Park visitor centre at Dock End, in the heart of the village.
Complaints have been made to the parish council about the behaviour of some of the children, as well as the large number of pupils.
Now, Robin Hood's Bay Parish Council has been told by the National Park authority that a field guide for teachers taking children to the centre is being drawn up to help solve the problem.
