Parkside Comprehensive School, Willington, marked pupils achievements with an awards evening last night.
Assistant headteacher David Wallace said: "This is a celebration of success for our pupils. The school is absolutely delighted with the progress our children are making. Some of them have far exceeded the expectations they had when the arrived here. They have had an excellent year."
