PEOPLE living in the Richmondshire district are being urged to show their support for this year's Poppy Appeal.
District council chairman councillor James Kendall said that the public's backing was vital for the Royal British Legion to continue its good work.
Last year's Poppy Appeal raised a record total of £21.4m nationally and the charity responded to more than 300,000 calls for assistance.
