THESE youngsters were among children from Albert Hill Nursery, in Darlington, who donned hard hats to get an up-close insight into the building trade.
They saw how work was progressing on the town's Victoria Mews housing development.
The site visit was part of a project currently being undertaken at the nursery, looking at houses, how they are built and the materials and machinery used.
