Poverina retained top position in the league with a 3-0 victory over Parklands. They have now played nine games with maximum points.
Cleveland Inn gave their championship hopes a boost when they beat last season's champions 3-1 to retain second spot. Two goals from Ray Woodhouse and one from John Morrison was enough to see off Priory who could only field the bare 11 players, no subs because of the televised game. Damien Gee getting Priory's consolation.
Lingdale YCC had a good away victory to Priestfields ending in a 5-0 scoreline. Simon Daynes had a field day with a hat-trick ably supported by Morgan Clode who netted twice. Priestfield tried but could not find a way through Lingdale's defence.
Boosbeck St Aiden's had to dig deep before overcoming SIFC Org 4-3. A goal from Aaron Johnson and a brace from Michael Bennison put Boosbeck on their way to what looked like an easy victory but SIFC had other ideas pulled it back to 3-2. Gareth Breckon came on as sub for Boosbeck to restore his teams two goal advantage but again SIFC hit back to produce a nail biting finish.
Redcar Glazing had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Big W. Paul McCulloch gave them the lead after five minutes but Big W stood solid at the back for a change and were well served by Shaun Jedson and Adam Glossop in goal. Five minutes from time Big W pulled level when Aaron Thompson added to his season's tally to give Big W a deserved point.
