Tow Law Bass League: Tow Law Rose and Crown recorded their third best win of the season when they only dropped two points to the visiting Tow Law Dan's Castle.
The home side took both trebles points and then shared the singles with wins from Stan Smith, Tony English and Paul Hail matching the wins from Rachel Heppell, Angela Suddes and Ian Johnson. The home side completed a good victory by taking two of the three doubles.
Tow Law New Market A stretched their lead at the top to 11 points with Newhouse Club in second place, six points ahead of Hamilton Row Black Horse.
The leading indivdual scorers were K. Atkinson with 180 and 140 for the new Market A, G. Whitfield 177 for the Comedian and L. Cullinan two 140's for the Moss Inn. John Smythe of Sunniside Comedian made a 160 start and finished in sixteen darts.

Willington League
Willington Burn slipped to their second defeat of the season when they entertained Willington Lion and Unicorn and so lost their third spot in the table. Willington Black Horse Tavern and Willington Club share the top place with a three points advantage over Hunwick Joiners Arms, who moved four points ahead of the Burn.
The Burn had singles wins from Tony Longhorne and Colin Davison whilst the Unicorn moved ahead with wins from Alan Lee, Michael Pickering, Kevin Hill and Donald Young. The visitors kept up their good run by taking all three doubles points through Carl Pearson with Kevin Hill, Alan Lee with John McCann and Donald Young with Michael Pickering. However the Burn recovered to take the double points team game.

Crook Ladies League
ASuddes hit the first maximum for Tow Law Dan's Castle but it failed to inspire her team for they went down by five points at home to Willington Commercial. Tow Law North Point also pulled off a surprise win when they beat the challengers for the runners-up spot, Tow Law New Market B by the odd point.
Crook Queen's Head A lead the table by 34 points with the race for the second place tightening up. Tow Law New Market B are five points ahead of Crook Travellers Rest, who moved into third place, three points ahead of Crook Jelly' Bar B.
Wear Valley
Ladies League
Ia very topsy-turvey week the five top teams were beaten causing a massive close up at the top of the table. Hunwick Quarry Burn and Crook Mill House now share top place two points ahead of Crook Golden Fleece and Crook Coach and Horses, with Oakenshaw and Crook Three Blue Bells just a further point behind.
After a great start to the season, Crook Mill House have now lost the last three matches, picking up only one point in their home against Crook Coach and Horses. Byers Green, late newcomers to the league, picked up their first victory when they won by the odd point at Howden Sunnydene Lodge.
The leading individual scorers were Kay Slater 140 and Susan Slater 130 for Byers Green, Ruby Clark 135 for Sunnydene Lodge, Joan Mills 135 and Julie heslop 125 for the Golden Fleece, Irene Clark 134 for the Coach and Horses, Marie Hudspeth 133 and Linda Heathcote 120 for the Surtees, Kim Pritchard 125 and Wendy Eddlestone 121 for the Mill House, June Peyrefitte 125 and two 121's for Bar 56, Joan Hall 124 for the Three Blue Bells, Diane Fleming 124 for the Brewer's Droop and Beverely Brown 120 for Oakenshaw.
