AN UNWANTED terrier puppy needs a new home after being given to an animal charity.
Six-month-old Tyson was not wanted by his Darlington owner and passed into the care of the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League.
Pauline Wilson, of the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League, said Tyson is being cared for at the league's kennels but desperately needs a new home.
She said: "It is not a good situation for a puppy of his age to be in kennels.
"He is a nice little dog and he needs someone who can devote some time and attention to him.
"We are looking to get him into a good home as soon as we can.
"In the right hands he will make a lovely pet. What he needs is a loving owner to take him for walks, give him a nice hot meal every night and give him lots of attention."
Anyone who is interested in adopting Tyson should contact the support league on (01325) 321855
